While there is generally a theme for each group session and each private session, what I feel is most important to what I do is that I create a space for people to transform in whatever way they need to by being able to relax into a meditative and supportive atmosphere. I enjoy leading the circles and helping other people experience the techniques I personally use for self-discovery, health, pain relief and stress management. I am passionate about letting people know that each and everyone of us has the ability to heal and transform by using our own breath and our own bodies.

Are you familiar with Ho’Oponopono? Ho’oponopo is a Hawaiin technique for forgiveness and reconciliation. What’s an even simpler way to say this? Whatever it is, whatever story is holding you back, chalk it up to an opportunity to forgive and forget and love yourself and everyone else even more. Say I’m sorry; I love you; and Thank you a lot.

I use what I know about Ho’Oponopono often and feel it is a basic way to understand a profound learning. We can’t change other people. We can only change ourselves. The first time I saw Derek O’Neil he said all perception is projection, all of it. What he said resonated with me and I now apply it whenever I catch myself being in judgment. If I’m on the bus for example and I’m thinking to myself “that person who just got on this bus is crazy and I need to be as far away from them as possible” I begin to look for the crazy person on the bus inside of me. What it does is foster immediate empathy and then, compassion, then love. The person on the bus completely calms down in less then three minutes every time – or is it me that calms down in less then three minutes? Yes, and yes. It’s so easy and so powerful. Below is a true story about the power of Ho’Oponono.

HO'OPONOPONO

Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len worked at Hawaii State Hospital for four years and cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients without ever seeing any of them. Dr. Len would study an inmate's chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person's illness. While he looked at files, he would work on himself. As he improved himself, the patient improved. He used a Hawaiian healing process called ho’oponopono.

After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely. Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. Those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed. And not only that, the staff began to enjoy coming to work. Absenteeism and turnover disappeared. They ended up with more staff than they needed because patients were being released, and all the staff was showing up to work. Today, that ward is closed.' Dr. Len was simply healing the part of him that created the patients dis-ease He said "total responsibility for your life means that everything in your life - simply because it is in your life - is your responsibility. In a literal sense the entire world is your creation." ho 'oponopono means loving yourself. "If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone, you do it by healing you." What was Dr. Len doing, exactly, when he looked at those patients' files? "'I just kept saying, 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you' over and over again,'" he explained.

Loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, you improve your world. Whenever you want to improve anything in your life, there's only one place to look: inside you. When you look, do it with love."

You are pure consciousness already free, awake and liberated. Stand up and walk out of your dream.

Adyashanti

There is vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action. And because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium…the world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.
